At the heart of the Appalachian countryside, the Red Barn Convention Center

greets travelers on the Appalachian Highway to rural Adams County, Ohio, home to great Native American earthworks’ Serpent Mound, a vibrant and growing Amish community with shops, bakeries, furniture, and craftspeople, beautiful nature preserves, and the birthplace of the nation’s Quilt Barn Trail. The Red Barn Convention Center is perfectly situated just a short hour’s drive from Cincinnati and two hours from Columbus, Huntington, WV, and Lexington, KY. Since opening in the summer of 2010, The Red Barn Convention Center has become southern Ohio’s home to a wide variety of musical events including indoor and outdoor concerts and festivals throughout the year. Locals recognize the RBCC as the performance home of The Cantrell Family.

The History

As visitor to the Red Barn Convention Center enter the facility, gasps of aw and astonishment can be heard and, it is difficult to envision that just a few years before the Cantrell Family purchased the now known RBCC that the very building was once known as the unfinished abandoned mega-church alongside the Appalachian Highway flapping with strips of weather torn house-wrap and waist-high weeds. The dream was to create a family-oriented place people of all ages and backgrounds can unite to enjoy concerts, festivals, camping, and so much more in a relaxing environment.

Accessibility

The Red Barn Convention Center is for everyone, and we recognize that some of our patrons may have special needs. The RBCC is fully equipped to accommodate mobility-impaired patrons through its unique one level floor plan. Furthermore, a curbside drop-off area that offers direct access to the box office and convenient parking spaces are located in front of the main entrance. All vehicles using these spaces must display a valid disability placard. Wheelchair seating is also available and should be requested at the time of ticket purchase.

Auditorium
The Red Barn Convention Center has been designed for both patron comforts and stage performance technology, in additionally, it is the region’s largest and most versatile event room. The Auditorium offers plush seating for 1,000. The fully-equipped stage features state-of-the-art lighting and sound. Features of the RBCC include a house sound system, spacious backstage area and professional technical and events staff to make any type of performance or production possible. The main foyer, where patrons can gather during intermission can accommodate more than 300 and enjoy a full-service cafe and shop merchandise and memorabilia of RBCC entertainers and performances. Entertainers enjoy full-service hospitality perfectly situated backstage and convenient access to and from their buses and trailers. In addition, the RBCC affords hospitality events staff to ensure the comforts of entertainers and their crews during their time at the RBCC.

 

Campground
Attending a musical festival, traveling from afar, or just passing through, the Red Barn Convention Center Campground offers 83 full hookup campsites including pull-thru sites available up to 46 feet, dump station, and group rates.
